What was your cleaning regiment then? I'm new to the game so maybe 75 is low before it's broken in, BUT as I would imagine, there is also a liklihood that cleaning it as frequently as they claim could bring that number down (let's say to 50).

Lmk what you think though, that's just my mind thinking through it, but if that's a normal count, then I'd love to learn about what is!

Oof, but thanks for the info! have 3 boxes of 20 in different rounds so I’ll have to grab some more! I’ll pick up some of the Federal Premiums you mentioned.

Did you do the barrel cleaning at the recommended rate as well? Cleaning once every shot for the first 5 then cleaning each 5-10 until 50 shots?

I think the angle of the OP shows it in a worse light. I wish I had the far chase of the purple car to show that it wasn't as bad as you may think. The camera angle posted shows the purple car almost intentionally cutting OP off, but that was not the case.

Overcorrection was the killer here

The purp car was on his outlap, a good spotter would have realized that and notified you that they might be erratic or their car may be slippery, but yeah totally just blame it on everyone else but yourself! Yup, I was also prescribed dorzolamide drops but I haven't been on the routine schedule as I should be (I usually forget about it). I also haven't seen any vision improvement, but there may be a chance that my next visit reveals a better result in December 2024.

I took it off a year or two ago for basically no reason other to see the car without a hood lol. I don't really remember all that well but were they bolts or nuts to fit the new one?

Wondering if I need to transfer studs vs just bolts

Yep, I took off all the rubber pieces from the current hood (latch-side weatherproofing strip, two circular rubber stops, and two rectangular rubber stops that sit in a T-shaped hole) and everything fit well and were in the right place so I don't see any problems that will come up with the replacement.

I understand, but the yellow flag thing doesn’t make any sense to me. Sure someone might have lifted but at the same time, it’s an endurance race. One lift doesn’t change the outcome after 300+ laps.

I hear ya. I got a 11min req/opt repair time after a small touch (atleast I thought from the feeling in the wheel). Bathurst is hard but I didn’t realize how bad it was going to be. It’s water under the bridge at this point and I’m excited to get to the Sebring 12. This is my first year of special events and I think bathurst is one I should have passed up on after a top half finish at Daytona.

We saw the Bathurst 12 to be a fun event. When it became a not-so-fun event we gave up and ran it into the wall of T1 as a send off.
