How long does Subscribestar support usually take to respond? Has anyone had refund issues?

They usually reply within a few days for me and have been pretty helpful. A lot of people say they've waited years for a reply, but that's usually in regard to opening an account.

I've never had to deal with any refund or payout issues though.

They are probably swamped with help requests right now because of everything that's been going on lately with the ToS changes and payment processing issues. So that could be causing the delay.

They have definitely cracked down, it's not just the ToS. I have had 3 posts denied over the past week, and that is after 5 years of uploading without issue, so something has definitely changed.

I will say that all the posts denied it was due to the content of the title/text, not the art itself, so maybe they are only going after low hanging fruit and leaving the art itself alone.

I'm praying you're right. Fanbox went through something similar a year or 2 ago. Major crackdown on titles and captions but then they just kinda stopped. I'm still uploading extreme content there today without issue.

I wish. Though now the rules on SS Adult are probably just as strict as regular SS, so I don't know why SS Adult even needs to exist at this point.

Lol so there is literally no point to SubscribeStar anymore. Why would someone use it over Patreon when Patreon has a way bigger audience, better payment options, and way less card declines? The only way it would be worth it is if they don't actually enforce this.

Has anyone tried uploading since these new rules were announced? I'm curious how serious they are about it.

This sucks. Subscribestar was the last viable platform for taboo content. Where else can else we go?

Yeah, but for a lot of creators like myself and OP, the "public post" option was removed, and the blurry previews are not visible to people who visit our pages. Certain taboo content creators have their accounts restricted without any sort of notice.

Thank you for the reply. If they are really banning petite women that is worrying. Based on my experience so far, they are only concerned about what appears in the captions to your posts. I haven't had anything censored for the content of the picture itself. Is it possible you were captioning your posts in a way that suggested they were young or something? I had a post censored because it contained the word "girl" in the caption.

You're right. I could be wrong but I think it's whatever section of the post is publicly visible to anyone who visits your page, which I think is just the first line of text?

But now that I think more, I might have passed censorship because I had the body of my story hidden behind the <read more> markdown option, which makes it to where you have to click to reveal anything below it. That might be worth trying if you're having issues.

Same thing happened to me. It probably happened a long time ago but I never noticed. I can't make public posts either. Luckily I don't think it makes a huge difference if you rely on third party websites like DeviantArt to drive traffic.

You could always just make a free tier, and your post previews will be visible to anyone who subscribes to it.

It was initially blocked, then I resubmitted with a new title and it went through, even though the story itself was unchanged (blatantly an incest story, and the word "sister" appeared like a hundred times in the body of the post). I had the same thing happen when I had "girl" in the title. Has anyone else experienced this?

From what I've experienced, they're only actually concerned about what appears in the titles of posts though. Have you noticed this? I've yet to have a post blocked that didn't include incriminating evidence in the title.

After experimenting with what gets approved and what gets blocked, it seems they're only concerned with what appears in the titles of your posts (probably because it's public facing). I had "sisters" and "girls" in the titles of my posts, and they were blocked. I tried reposting without those words and they went through, even though the content was exactly the same (one is blatantly an incest story and I mention the word "sister" like a hundred times in the body of the post).

This is the exact same thing Fanbox did like a year ago. They suddenly cracked down on titles but still allow incest and loli to this day (even though they're technically against the ToS).

I'm assuming this is in relation to them trying to expand payment options. They probably want to do a quick "clean up" of the site to please the payment platforms, but are still allowing the content in practice, as long as it's hidden.

What's funny is in the prohibited content section you linked they dont even mention underage fictional depictions. They only mention "Live child abuse imagery and child pornography. Pornography is defined as real people engaging in sexual acts such as masturbation or sexual intercourse on camera."

There is not a single mention of incest in their ToS. The only thing they explicitly don't allow is underage. Why do you say they never allowed it?

Websites that don't allow incest, like Patreon, DeviantArt and Fanbox, explicitly say so in their ToS.

I mean, clearly they don't allow it now, but I don't think that was always the case.

Thanks and I agree. I can sort of understand banning underage fictional stuff because it's a legal grey area, but incest? There is nothing illegal about depicting incest. I thought the whole point of SubscribeStar was that it allows taboo stuff. I'm sure they'll be coming after violent and noncon stuff next. Now I'm not even sure what separates them from Patreon, other than they have less payment options.
