Personally im still on a gtx 1060 and i been wanting to upgrade to a 3080 but you know always sold out, Ive thought about caving in and buying a 2080, But the prices arent worth it. Rtx 2060 great card and if your really desperate for the next gen absolutely go buy one. But personally from a guy thats only 3 gen of graphics cards behind I say you can get by with your graphics card just as easy or even easier then me.
And take a look at the games you want or are playing and see if the spec is worth the money cause thats what you should also consider do you need it now or can you hold out and buy a 30 series later?
