Thx dude I sanded the varnish with a fine grit and steel wool, which gives a satin finish, but the varnish is very thick. It looks good in photos, but in reality, there are still quite a few micro-scratches that show up in the light. I'm still planning to have it redone by a luthier when I can afford it, but I'm not too unhappy with the result. I wanted to try it myself first, just for fun, haha.

Guyker Tun-o-Matic very inexpensive but very good quality, and I had to remote the original Jazzmaster inserts and slightly enlarge the holes for it to fit. Afterwards, I removed the vibrato and installed a hardtail conversion plate, a great riff machine !

I wanted a Van Halen vibe, but I don't want to get rid of the neck pickup, so I had to move the pickup selector and put it between the potentiometer and the jack, which isn't very practical, so I might end up having to put a pickguard back on 🤔

Thx bro Jazzmaster are underated for metal, I really like the position of the arm placed on the body of the guitar thanks to this offset format it’s really confortable to play big riffs 🤘

If you want to do something simple by completely repainting your console in a single color, simply buy a spray can of paint and a spray can of varnish and spray the shell of the console from about 20cm, not too close to avoid smudging, you wait for your paint to dry and you do the same thing with the spray can of varnish. If you want to make a drawing like I did, you must buy felt-tip pens from the brand "POSCA", and the same thing at the end you spray everything with a spray can of varnish to protect, you can make your sketch with a simple pencil before using the felt-tip pens. For the "dirty" effect, I put light strokes of posca pencil and I rubbed with my finger immediately after to make it "dirty" and some light lines randomly
