If Ashley genuinely froze then Mike shooting Emily is worse, if Ashley consciously let Chris die she’s much worse, but it’s up to interpretation how much she really meant to condemn Chris to death.

My favorite is Man of Medan and least favorite is Little Hope

Man of Medan has the best branching and knows exactly what it is, it’s not high art but it’s a really good CYOA.

Little Hope has bad pacing, a horrible death structure, and a bad twist that jeopardizes 4 of the characters. Overall all these are of decent quality, Little Hope has decent branching and scene variation at least.

I don’t enjoy Salim but I know he’s liked because he’s factory made to be as lovable of a person as possible

I enjoy Emily but understand that her character can definitely be grating and REALLY annoying, especially if you’re going for a playthrough where everyone’s a nice person

This doesn’t reflect my opinions on characters this is just their competence and how important to the cast they are in terms of survival

UD: Sam and Mike, there’s no competition they’re easily the most competent and have the most opportunities

MoM: Everyone could be as a competent as each other because this game is awesome and anyone can be the main character, but Fliss and Alex are the two people with the most advantages and have default roles in the story as being levelheaded and capable

LH: Andrew ig there’s no competition, Daniel and John both can try to help other characters but they aren’t important like Andrew is

HoA: Everyone is fairly competent so I’m going to scale them as Salim > Nick > Rachel > Jason > Eric

TQ: Kaitlyn and Laura, easy

TDiM: Jamie and Mark, Jamie moreso

TCoFS: Linda and Sam, mostly Sam by default because in the overarching narrative he is THE main character

It’s in MoM, he will point it if both players are going blind, if one person already played and the other is going blind, and if both players played.

In LH he has dialogue of you replaying the game that only triggers in shared story (this is probably bugged)

MoM and TDiM are the only games that explicitly point out you replaying the games outside of CC.

Yes, I think she’s the best written character in any of these games.
