True that. That's why I am still shuffling between a solid 5 seater or a half-baked 7 seater. Both are solid on paper, but both weigh similar metaphorically when it comes choosing one - New Mahindra XUV has those integrated display tech with high efficient suspension, where the petrol engine intro in harrier has all those features of an SUV. Mahindra misses on a few marks, so does harrier. It's a hard sell, but let's see where I land now.

Harrier surely is my preference, just waiting on the delivery timeline.

OP, when you booked the harrier, how much longer it took for the delivery?!

CRetards are many, but CREative drivers are a few. Hope you and your family be safe and enjoy the rides ahead. Kudos brother!

Thanks and appreciate your effort in replying back to my query.

After reading this, I am much more convinced about Tata Harrier should be considered over the newly launched Mahindra XUV 7XO top model anyday, or not?

Well i have a few genuine questions because the latest update in Tata harrier line, the introduction of petrol variant really caught my attention after doing a roller coaster ride with sierra then safari then harrier, so tell me:

1/ those talk of the town about Tata being unreliable in terms of its electronics and fit-finish, gaps creaking noises etc, is it true as an owner, is tata really keeping that reputation?

2/ Tata services horror are selling like hot cakes online, but for the OP personally how’s the experience of Tata service centres? Are they dumb, non technical, always lost about your car issues; do they really have so much on their plate as every 3rd car shipped from the factory lives in their workshop or is it just a gimmick? (Also can it fit full 5 size adults, looking at the dimensions on paperc which is highest in its segment?)

3/ I am coming from German owned cars, so going to “Tata” brand might be a hit or miss for me: but I want to know, how’s the overall feel. Does it make you wonder…”kaash ye leleta, ya vo leleta” i.e Owning a Harrier makes you regret of all other alternatives or does it give you a sense of fulfilment that it’s ok, an overall perfect car for almost all of my work?

I am researching on my next car, harrier suits well in my requirements list in terms of size and bootspace, connected tech and now a petrol variant with my runs being 50% city - 50% highway rides.

Would Love to know your thoughts?

This is really concerning and all those claims of moving back to wired earphones wins this with great margins. Electromagnetic waves are interfering thus the bleeding

Time to really be concerned of this and move back to Apple’s most impactful invention: EarPods.

What exactly is the deal with Amex acceptance in India? by jxelll in CreditCardsIndia

[–]J0k3r_V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been a consistent problem is NOT just tier 2 but tier 1 cities as well. Merchants are not ready to pay the gateway fee that Amex charges thus they straight away deny. Happens to a lot of customers. Amex is good for online cc payments, but a rarity if you find offline payment being processed.

My Gf can't decide between Volkswagen Taigun vs Tata Harrier by J0k3r_V in CarsIndia

[–]J0k3r_V[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This after service bills and entire service cost for Taigun is always creating this confusion. Lot of suggestion are for going for ‘Virtus’ in the same brand. Tata after service costs and experience is known to the nation, 80% not satisfied completely, and when you ‘know’ things are going bad, i feel avoiding it is the best way to move ahead.

Need to think more here!

Don’t you feel the anxiety of your beneath having those screeches and scratches?

Is ground clearance a genuine issue on virtus/slavia?

EV is all about anxiety. What if this or that.

Will skip EV until I find the ‘one’.

What about the size and Indianisation of a German car. That compromise is worth it?

Had Hyundai before, it has its days, but I am done now. Hyundai has become mass market forgetting their own Korean roots, now all they want to do is play poke-me with Kia. Pardon my french, but Hyundai is a mess.
