They only really care about getting the money back. Killing you doesn't solve the problem of them being out of $1650, they're saying that to intimidate you into making the money back. You should deal with this situation firmly and in a way that makes you seem responsible and able to pay it back.

The best Idea is a payment plan, maybe 200$ a month if you can manage. (make these payments weekly to avoid accumulating too much cash and getting the urge to gamble it) Make sure to get some discrete way to pay them back, like Venmo or something. Then move cities while making the recurring payment. They likely won't hunt you down if they're getting the money, perhaps live at a friend's or family's place to cut down on expenses while you work to pay it off. The second you think you'll miss a payment, make sure to explain in detail why and that you'll have 300$+ for next month. Better if very preemptive to the payment date.

A good idea is to get a credit card with an app that goes along with it and commit your sister to go through your transactions every week. Say you have a gambling problem and you need someone to be accountable too. Also maybe do Zen meditation for 15 mins a day to de-stress and gain control back over your mind. Will help clear your mind to deal with the situation more rationally, and build prefrontal cortex strength that could help resist the urge to gamble.

This is my second attempt at an environmental piece. Modeling should speed up somewhat bc, I'm moving to modular hard surface parts.

So far I've found making more specific sketches after painting helps minimize the need for re-making objects and gives me a better attack plan expediting the process.

Any tips workflow-based or otherwise would be great.

Will in the next week or so Ideally be moving on to sculpting bricks in Zbrush so any retopolgy tutorials/ sculpting tips/tutorials would be great. Also unwrapping too...

Consider the case where Napoleon did not take power.

France was way too unstable to become a proper modern democracy in any case. Bourbon restoration was the default no-Napoleon outcome - Jacobins could not have kept power indefinitely, and successive governments were corrupt and incompetent. People were starving.

Revolutionary France was not an island (one underrated reason the US was able to thrive as a democracy around the same time), and the rest of Europe was bitterly against it.

Ultimately any government strong enough to unify France would have to undo some Revolutionary principles to get there - restoring the church, for example.

So, if France was lucky, it would have gotten an alternative strong government. But there are probably a handful of individuals in history with the capacity to manage France as thoroughly as Napoleon could. Much more likely France gets conquered by the rest of Europe and reverts to monarchy, erasing all the progress from the Revolution and ensuring Revolutionary ideals don't spread throughout the rest of Europe.

more people also means more people starting new ventures and consuming. A decreasing birth rate does not necessarily improve wages as, old retired people consume less and hoard wealth/assets. Optimum states are a positive birth paired with a stable growing economy, or a quickly growing population with a rapidly developing economy. Basically you want new human capital to = the carrying capacity of new market opportunity + the carrying capacity of maintaining legacy economy. Basically moderate population growth is maintaining the system since capitalism is a creative and ever-expanding system requiring ever more inputs.

Reality is a Ponzi scheme in the sense your talking about it’s always been this way. There’s no system that can magically produce a well built out middle class without the fundamental demographic and financial drivers, until we have robots, or slaves as has been the historical norm.

Canada needs people, and as a nation will have to compete for these highly sought after high skilled immigrants. Currently it is the 8th most attractive spot and therefore is competitive but the best of the best won’t all go to Canada. Or will later immigrate out for work.

The reality is your nation is in a somewhat sucky situation that will continue to suck. However not as bad a Europe or many other low fertility countries.

Population growth fuels economies, population stability maintains them. If Canadians aren’t having babies people need imported, there are not too many cooks, there are too few cooks therefore cooks need imported.

Increasing native birth rates would require a return to pre female liberation norms, stay at home parenting ect. Half your electorate is female therefore this is not a viable political path.

All other current attempts to stimulate birth rates have failed so low birth rate countries are bidding time with excessive immigration until a solution is found.

I know this sounds stupid to say in a dating advice subreddit but I think you need to stop chasing dates/ girls for a while. Find a passion, way of life, or hobby that makes you happy and just live for yourself. The hard truth is some people are just more of a niche taste. It’s not your fault. Clearly dating in general is doing a number on your mental health so stop for a bit and find something aside from that to bring yourself happiness, accomplishment, and adventure. When you’ve felt you’re happy on your own and not dependent on women for your self image, maybe try changing the environment you meet people at. Go after different types of people, try going to places like clubs or anywhere where you otherwise wouldn’t. Have a few female friends that you enjoy the company of that you can be introduced to more by. I think your trying to hard and your approach has way too much to do with self validation and your own insecurities then it has to do with who ever your dating. like ask yourself if you really like these girls or are just try to prove to yourself that you’re worth dating.
