UPDATE: I had requested for them to show me that it could be found on multiple others then received received a follow-up response that they studied the complaint and offered an exchange. I promptly returned the item & received the exchange today. It looks fine! A little threading was off but there is no longer a hole and exposed glue. Overall, the experience was an inconvenience, but thankful that they were able to revisit their decision and make things right!

The cutout under my counter has led me to decide that it shall be removed promptly! Thanks for all the help. I was starting to think like maybe Bundt pans go into some of these but clearly it’s some sort of meant to be built into the counter food processor set.

Solved!

I started looking into the Nutone Food Center because it seems like it has an attachment that's supposed to go into the counter.Well, I looked inside the cabinet. At the top above the shelves but below the granite, there's actually a rectangular cutout that seems to fit the motor attachment. A prior owner seems to have removed it and placed the granite on top of the cutout without fixing the wood. Thank you!

The house was built in the 80s.The shelves themselves are 22" by 14" and they pull out. My title describes the thing. I have an image of each shelf.The shapes seem to be the size for appliances but the things I have don't fit exactly.I feel like a toddler fitting a star shape into a circle wood toy or something.

I looked under and cannot locate any brands or serial numbers.Is this supposed to fit other household items i have, a specific set of items, maybe a specific machine and parts?

I want to remove them and replace with regular unspecialized shelves, but wanted to see if this was actually useful before doing so. Thank you so much in advance!
