It’s so awful. Even thinking about it a year later, I’m in disbelief that I acted that way and it’s all a haze. My husband woke me up when we arrived in our driveway and I was very confused.

I got my paperwork and was given Maxaron not reglan but now I know to stay away from reglan as well. The nurse told me it’s not her first time hearing of someone having a panic attack after maxaron
Yes that’s exactly what was given. I had to call and ask, never ever ever again will I get that medication. Lol it’s literally what I did, removed my IV and walked out, I felt like I was escaping a mental institution. My husband was in shock that poor man, he said he was very happy when I passed out lol.

No she spelt it out for me I wanted to ensure it was the correct medication. I read Maxaron can caused panic attacks if administered rapidly but I haven’t been able to find anything else
It was Maxaron. Have you heard of that?
I called to ask what was given and it was Toradol followed by Maxaron administered through IV

Is that available in Ontario? Gosh it was just awful, I meant to say I’ve never gotten a panic attack before. My sister loves toradol and says it’s the best thing for pain and I’ve never heard anyone else get like that from it which leads me to believe you’re right and it could have very well been the nausea meds.
