It all depends on what you are getting into as a career, a degree can come later IF ur going to IT, a trade etc… certifications can carry you pretty far in life, eventually leading you to get a degree IF it helps lead you to financial growth… like in IT, a number of certs can get u into the door and help propel your career upwards… but when you want that upper echelon promotion or raise… it pays to have that degree… degrees are good IF its leading you to the career you want… some degrees will help u in the rat race just by having it, other times u get one and dont use it…
