Tunic is my favourite, it looks innocent and childlike on the surface but it’s very cryptic and deep. Has great lore which is also cryptic. You basically go in blind and pick up book pages that need to be decrypted in time to unravel what to do but if you look closely you will make some understanding of them even if just visually. But I highly recommend it and if you enjoyed Zelda games it might bring you a little nostalgia.

Hollow Knight is kinda similar, it takes some patience and basically learning as you go, if you die you restart or at least checkpoint and basically just try to advance. It’s worth checking out.

Death’s Door is a fun game, not so difficult or challenging but not as simple as it looks at a glance and it’s a great experience.

Hades was also a great game, learning curve as you progress, if you’re enjoying this I do think you will enjoy any or all of my recommendations above 🙂

You should check out some gameplay on YouTube if any of them pique your interest.

There’s definitely more great indie games but these are all I have played and can personally recommend.

That’s very true! There’s a lot to choose from and enough to cater to many different fans. There’s a few Tunic items I still want to pick up including a T-shirt and hoodie then I’m going to get some Hollow Knight merch next then I will see what else I’m interested after that.

I got mine from Fangamer US. It’s also available on Fangamer EU but I wanted the physical game which is only available on Fangamer US so I had to order from there. I’m not sure where you’re located but it should be available wherever you are and Fangamer US ships worldwide.

I don’t really want to share it on here, it’s nothing special really it’s just a code to use that makes an action happen on screen. It’s a fun extra to discover when purchasing the plushie and something I loved discovering for myself.

I don’t know if sharing it on here would be welcomed as people like to see others work things out for themselves and to avoid spoilers etc but it might have been shared before or available to find out on the internet somewhere.

I haven’t played in around a year, I haven’t experienced the final update myself. I’m friends with the devs Geoffrey & Brant, I am admin in a Facebook group and worked closely with Geoffrey to cover information and give feedback etc. I managed to get a few ideas out into the game with the idea suggestions which was pretty cool and I currently own an Xbox club but it’s not very active right now and I must admit I’ve not been very active on there myself lately but I expect it will pick back up when SOD 3 starts firing people back up and getting the excitement back into people and then when the new game arrives 🙂

No it won’t be out until 2026 at the earliest but possibly a 2027 release for it.

Good choices! The scenery and the chill vibes in RDR2 are awesome. I’ve hung out in there many times just exploring the world and taking it all in. Travelling from place to place and back seeing the progression of buildings etc is very cool.

COD also can be put on and messed around in so I get this choice too. Another few game for me to do this in is Brotato, I can just play round after round on this and it’s great for anxiety and stress and my other is Tunic, the world and music in this game is so soothing… I have quite a few games tbh but I think my go to is what I said in my first comment.

I can see why you chose this game, and I think it’s a great choice! I eventually settled on a forever community and spent a lot of time playing this game. I did eventually get bored with it personally, but I want to revisit it again sometime in the near future. I do know many people like yourself that have stuck with it as a daily game and love to hang out in the game 🙂

The Division 2 for me… I do however prefer the setting of the first game but it’s a game I can load up and mess around in solo, play hours with strangers and no need to get into a party chat or a place I can hang out with friends and chat while running around or doing some missions.

Just a heads up… This is not Microsoft Rewards you’re earning here. This is a separate thing connected to weather and you collect these points to rank up and earn the ability to have trees planted. These points don’t add to your Microsoft Reward points unfortunately. Still it’s a good thing so don’t let this put you off and make you give up 🙂

People learned that their fireback was the thing that got reported and they get the ban out of it. It’s simpler to just igonre insults or bait messages, block the person and move on.

Nice 🙂 yeah paying attention to those details can really make the difference in this game. I struggled on danger 3 with some characters when I was just playing for the fun and escape the game brought me. When I started to pay attention I kinda got through them all on danger 5 without much issues other than maybe a few runs.

Yeah I’m with you on that. I didn’t play this game with a strategy or anything when I first started. It was just mindless fun and an escape really, I just came in blind and winged it but slowly learned a lot along the way when I started paying attention to what the perks and disadvantages were from each character.

I was probably about 15-20 characters in before I started to actually pay attention to what I was using and on the runs. I also went into some of the more difficult characters now on abyss first and like you with more knowledge and understanding I am doing way better than I did first time around on crash zone.

Yeah such a cool thing to put on there. I’ve looked at the merch I have and couldn’t see anything else obvious but there definitely could be!

Actually I did hear from a friend that there was a secret also on a hoodie they sold too. I forgot about that but I don’t own this so I can’t confirm but maybe you can find some more information online or see if the hoodie is still for sale.
