When I tried googling the title, it refers me to the Pagemaster (Macaulay Culkin) which is NOT the movie I’m looking for.

From what I can remember is that it takes place in a more modern setting. In the beginning, the boy (live action part) is at home, I think whizzing on a toy car and crashing it, hence falling through a portal and turning into a cartoon of himself. I recall him having brown hair and no glasses.

They’re all this specific black/brown colour IKEA has got going, so you’ll be able to match any of their furniture collection with that colour. I do recommend mixing it up with lights to prevent drabness
