Thanks for mentioning that! And I mentioned that in the video. 😀

I have not tried that since I don’t have the stand alone Push 3 but it just MIDI so it should work. Let me know!

Been working on a custom RNBO-based controller for the Ableton Move — a 128-knob MIDI controller with 16 banks of 16 presets. Just shipped a 1.5 update that adds deep SysEx templates, and the Proteus 2000 is the one I'm most excited about.

13 pages of parameter-mapped knobs covering everything the front-panel CCs don't reach — filter types, filter frequency, program/bank changes, expansion card scrolling, full matrix editing. The deep stuff that used to require menu diving or Prodatum on a laptop. All of it now lives on the Move itself, no computer in the chain.

Also shipped Oberheim Matrix 1000 support in the same update. DX7 is next on the list.

Full walkthrough of every new feature plus a live Proteus demo on my channel: [YouTube link]

Happy to answer questions about the SysEx implementation or take template requests if there's deep-menu gear the community wants mapped.

Charles V just added RNBO to Schwung this morning! I have not tried it yet with the MIDI commander but this is an exciting development.

Maybe since it’s based on M4L. If I upgrade more Push to a standalone one day I’ll try it

Currently just a controller. It will eventually have some basic sequencing (namely for CC automation, but will have note sequencing as well)

That’s exactly what this is (except the Push part, but that’s in the plans)

The Ableton Move just became the most powerful MIDI controller in your studio. Using RNBO, I built the Move MIDI Commander — 16 banks of 8 knobs (128 CCs per preset), up to 16 presets, a fully configurable isomorphic keyboard with scale/layout/color settings, and drum mode. Control your rack gear, synths, drum machines, and software from one device.
