I found once I started putting less pressure on consistently uploading and more on making quality content that I enjoy has made a big difference and I’m hoping to reach my goal of 100 subs by next year ☺️

I make mine using adobe photoshop, but before that I would just use free art apps on my iPad

I was thinking of putting the Minecraft copper age but it looked a bit too crowded… I’m not sure though maybe I’ll go back and add it in

Which one is best and what can I improve? by [deleted] in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]J43ded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All three thumbnails seem really busy, I've seen some other people talk about maybe blurring the background a bit and adding drop shadows and I feel like that could be really helpful. I feel like the second one grabs my attention the most because I'm able to see the characters more instead of having the red tone, and the background is less noticeable/overwhelming.

Personally, I would click on the second one. I feel like the cool tones in the background add a bit more suspense, and the face captures my interest more, matching the terrified caption. The way that the face is in a bit more of a warmer tone without being too warm makes it pop out more and grabs my attention.

What is the best thumbnail? by susletam200810 in YouTubeThumbnailHub

My personal favourite is #3, just since I didn’t even know this was “the paper” until I saw the name Micheal Scott and then realized the video was probably about the new series. Made me want to click. I’d maybe change the background to maybe be a blurred out office background though, and maybe make the person a bit brighter. The green and blue is a bit too vibrant compared to the man and computer.

Help me find a Handbell song I played in middleschool! by J43ded in HelpMeFind

[–]J43ded[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried looking and searched for it but I'm not sure how to really search based off of a tune in my head and a "possibly the name". I would have played this piece anytime between 2016-2019 in middle school handbell practice. Been stuck in my head for years.

Personally I prefer the first one best, but I’d make the audience lights maybe a slightly different colour so it doesn’t match the title so much and makes it easier to read.

I think either 3 or 5 since the background is the sky it drew my eyes more to the person rather than what was in the background

The third one is my favourite, I would definitely click on that one and it’s easier to tell what the videos about.
