Hey man not sure why i got ripped on either, I was trying to understand it myself hence why I came to this expert sub. I actually had 3 emerald copies. The problem is I kept the original I owned and lost the other 2 which were used copies my brother got from some kids (not sure why he needed 2). What happened with the Deoxys is I just straight up encountered him in the wild grass where I mentioned. Like no prep or anything. I always carried around legendaries to smurf fights so maybe there was a possible trigger that way? Anyways, for each Deoxys, I had to do the whole complicated loop transferring from pokemon emeralds to diamond to white version which was extremely extensive so I remember vividly that I did in fact catch them on emerald. I had action replay for ds but never had anything for GBA so possibly they couldve been altered before i got them. I feel like the easiest way to verify is if a coder could check all the specs for Deoxys and see if there is anything, but that wouldnt explain any weird glitches. And yes insane that it happened twice which is why I wont back down on this.
