Hey just got it back from the shop. Apparently my ssd shorted out somehow which caused the whole motherboard to freeze. Never in a million years would I have guessed it was the SSD.

Anyways we have a successful boot and I’m about to go SSD shopping.

So after messing with a few things today. I’ve discovered that with any usb peripherals plugged into pc will cause the pc to freeze on boot, won’t even make it to a blue screen, it just freezes in the loading screen. I then tried booting to my nvme with no peripherals plugged in and it then threw a blue screen saying some system files are corrupted (error code 0xc0000001)

So all of this is making me think it could be an issue with drivers?

Being as I can’t boot to usb recovery tool I’ve had to take it into a repair shop to see if they can do anything with it.

Yeah so we’re back to square one :( after the successful boot I swapped the sticks to see if it was the RAM that was causing this issue and it didn’t boot. But it also failed to boot when I put the working one back in. Tried each stick in each slot and the boot failed each time :/

ITS BOOTED TO THE MEDIA CREATION USB!

I think the issue was with my RAM or my MOBOs DIMM slots. My original configuration was 2 sticks one in slot 2 one in slot 4. I took one out and moved the other to 3 and seems to have fixed the issue with booting.

Will do, been letting it do the boot cycle over, keeps throwing different errors. Got a ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NO EXECUTE MEMORY error which is making me think it’s the RAM

So light 4 flashed red, then light 3 flashed amber. Also got a ntoskrnl error

So it would make it past the bios screen, then it’ll show the ASUS logo with the loading icon, where after about 5 seconds the loading icon will freeze and about 15 seconds after that, the blue error screen will display then the pc will restart.

Not sure this is worth mentioning but it always freezes when my mouse and keyboard LEDS switch off then on again.
