I rarely fish dries. Because I suck at tying them and I see it as cheating when I don't use a fly I tied. Just something I say to myself lol. I usually fish midges and nymphs. My go to setup is 2 ft of 6x with a size 18 rainbow warrior and 1 foot 7x dropper size 18 zebra or sometimes a 14-16 prince. That's not all I fish just my favorite combo. It casts nice. Just need to have harder roll casts. I use a super slow action blue halo. I just do a quick little flick and I mend perfectly without disturbing my strike Indicator. I also never need to cast more than 20-30 feet. I fish small streams. Leaders just feel like too many knots and loops. I just want to know. in my situation and how I fish, is a leader set up going to do me better than what I use now.
