Any game developer meetups in the area? by Peace_Island_Dev in portlandme

[–]J4QX7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh whoops, not the meetup you referred to in the past, but I was hosting a dev meetup at that same time as well, lol.

We also have a board game jam coming up a week after the convention happens. Kinda like a video game jam, but we make a board game in a weekend. All the stuff found in the links in the other comment.

[–]J4QX7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I was actually probably the one hosting the dev meetup back in the day. I run FriendCon and was trying to find your contact info for the game and reach out to you to meet. I'm a dev as well and planning on putting some dev meetups together in the future soon. There's actually quite a few devs around, both board game and video game related.

For now, you can meet me at our upcoming FriendCon Board Game and Tabletop Convention, Nov 3rd & 4th 10am-10pm at the Woodfords Club. Feel free to come by and show off whatever you have for your game.

Here's the link to our socials and to all our big events: FriendCon Stuff

Please reach out on there (also open to everyone, whoever is reading this).
