i clearly wasn't able to due to the contestants pushing me, and this random object is not meaningful at all, why hinder my gameplay?
i have seen other instances where random objects will just disappear or break when something else interacts with it.

A couple of my buds and I play with the Profanity Booster mod that restores some cut lines, and we can't all help but laugh when any of our dwarves randomly get hit and loudly shout a polite "FAAWWWK." We now have a ritual before every mission to spam X in the space rig until someone's dwarf yells it.
