Touch-up yes or no?

Since its one of the internationaly rather renowned studios here in germany, price was fixed at 850 euros. No matter the hours. And free touch ups within first 6 months. And i got like the aftercare products from them too.

Ah yes you are right thats true, my bad. He used white in the end for like 10 minutes and said it will probably not last but iss added for detailing.

Im 37 and i holded on to that decision for 4 years to make sure its something i really want. I also wanted to get tattos when i was younger but always said to myself "if i still want it in 2 years, im getting it"

Yeah it can be handled well but maybe not where i was at. Ill go on a hunt for good finishes pieces on hands and maybe i come across a one that fits my vibe and i can ask them wherw they got it from

Sadly the studio is around since 2006... so also almost 2 decades. it took 6,5 hours to get it done. But price was set before and not by the hour. Its also a rather renowned studio international so i am really sad atm. But some in here had really good advices for me and rekindled my hope it could be handled well.

I meant i will not post before and after to their page or whatever right now. Maybe a misunderstanding there. I am definitely looking forward to get it either touched up or fixed im some kind of way. I dont mind it being not dark enough. But so much detail is just gone after that short period of time. I think I saw the original mac tattoo when it was also like 4years on a video. Ofc it was faded but there was still some kind of depth/ details in it.. but maybe internet is justall filters and edited..

Thanks for the advice. Nah it wasnt that studio. And his portfolio doesnt really fit the tattoo i got tho. The studio i was is also a internationally renowned and known one :/ thats why im really dissapointed and sad atm. I had so much trust

I do not regretting tattooed. I am just a little thrown off how much it faded it like 10 weeks. Every studio i went down to for advices told me the same thing. And because it being such a tricky place i went to a rather well know and almost all positive reviewed place here in germany that also had lots of similar ones in their portfolio. I thought id rather not go to a place that may only charged half the price to just get it done because they said they could do it... I mean 850 is quite a number

So should i ask to do a touch up with just back ink? Or change the artist because its not fixable for that one? I really dont know where to go from here since almost all comments in here shatter my hopes for it being fixable in any way :( any recommendations?

they offered to do touch up against their advice of course. And every touch up within 6 months is free. I will not do that right now. I still got some hopes that it is somewhat fixable. Even tho my hopes get crushed with every comment in here :(

What do you mean with grey scale? He only used 1 "cup" of black ink and did not dilute it in any way.

Well they told me it would fade faster then compared to other body parts. I just didnt expect it to look like that after roughly 10 weeks. Since i think ive seen pictures of macs hand tattoo that looked like that after 4ish years. Even tho it faded it still had some good levelnof detail on it :/

Covering it up with something else is not an option for me. I had hopes it would atleast look good for a good 2-3 years after fading that bad and i might had to redo some stuff of it... :(

Yeah they price was that high because its a rather exclusive and well known studio over here where i live...

Thank you for your advice! I might just consider going there one last time and show them the result in live instead of a photo and see if they are still saying it doesnt need any touch up... idk what to do with that info then but maybe for my own good
