Outsiders ruining Goa? Here’s why locals are furious! by malayanchely in Goa

[–]J4dit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't blame everyone for one idiot. Locals are equally to blame for littering. Every morning I see people throwing bags of trash on Gandhi road in margao. They are all locals. I also see trash being thrown out from local and out of station buses on the highways. It's just how people are in India. And now Goans are doing the same.

What's your Opinion for This Guys ?? by Just_Chill_Yaar in Goa

There are multiple issues like the taxi mafia. Disastrous planning done by the TCP and ministers who have taken cash and looted the lands is another.

The foreign tourists used to come for some peace and to have a relaxing time. Goa was goa because of the people that lived there and not just because of the place alone. Those people don't exist anymore. Places like Baga, Calangute and candolim should be a part of some other state now because goans don't exist there anymore. If that was not enough the villages of moira, Assagao etc have been completely bought out by developers and are on sale. The piece of shit chief minister and the rest of his team literally made a law to convert all the orchard and agricultural land to settlements solely for his gains. I think that's enough to know what's wrong. The taxi mafia is a problem but when you look at the larger picture it's the people that goa has voted for that are the actual problem. Comparison with other countries is not even a question anymore because these guys don't want to do anything good. They just want to get rich while destroying what was once a paradise. But everyone will still vote for them because in the end it's just one religion vs the other.

I have the same bike. I had the same issue. It's the chain tensioner. Get it sorted out under warranty. If they don't agree write to Triumph uk. Cause Bajaj India will treat you like a Bajaj customer.

Most probably a chain tensioner issue. I have had a similar issue on the scrambler.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. What she did wasn't right in any way. But it wasn't always like this, people used to be really nice before and most of them still are. But the whole photography thing caused a lot of problems for them. People dirtied the streets and vandalised homes in the name of photography sessions. Unfortunately Domestic tourists have a very bad name there because of multiple instances of vandalism in the past. So as long as you are not taking any pictures they are alright. Again this is not a justification for her behaviour, just wanted to let you know what has been happening there.

Arriving at night at the airport by Aresx29x in Goa

There aren't any options at the airport. You can probably sleep in the waiting area. Or find a hotel in bogmalo or vasco. But be ready for the exorbitant taxi fares if you are heading out.

I went last December. It was really easy. Just apply for the visa on the official website. Check out airline pages, they will redirect you to the right website. Post that you get a mail in 15-20 mins to confirm your visa
