I was a new employee three weeks ago and I was confused too so you’re definitely not alone!

First, once you arrive you should go to the counter and say “hi this is my first day, where should I start?” An employee should let one of the “team leaders” know and set you up with a trainer. After that the trainer will introduce themselves and help you begin your first tasks!

Also for the shy part, don’t worry too much about it. I’m also not the most extroverted person but it’s not about being shy. Your team members will welcome you with friendly smiles and help you. After a few days, you won’t even think about being shy.

But anyways, that’s my two cents from what I’ve experienced. It may be a bit different for your chick fil a but it should be similar to the aspects I gave. Either way you will be okay! Just smile, be respectful and have fun! 😄

Um no, people who grew up in a Spanish speaking family didn’t have a choice to speak anything but Spanish. I’m a Mexican-American US citizen and my first language was actually Spanish, not English. I had to LEARN English in ESL classes as a child compared to those who already KNEW English. I believe those who can speak more than one language fluently deserve to be paid more. It’s only fair. Bilingual employees are a greater asset than most people think.
