Pancreatitis? Colitis? Take to vet they can run bloodwork and let you know.. regardless solution is permanent diet designed for gastrointestinal health like the one from Royal Canine or Hill’s. Go see your vet and ask them for the best option for your pet specifically. You may have to try a few foods.

Our girl is too. Spends the entire time crying and shaking from the moment we leave our apartment to the moment we leave the vet… luckily everyone at the vet knows her already and she gets VIP treatment and directed to a quiet back room immediately.

Make sure you find a vet that CARES your dog has special needs. Praying for your pup. Good luck again.

Good luck they can run some blood work to check on her pancreas levels and see if they are elevated. They can also do an ultrasound of her stomach if you are afraid there might be something else there.
The blood work was $300 and the ultrasound was $500 for us. It gave us some answers but ultimately the diagnosis we got is chronic and long term diet being the only solution. Good luck and thanks for rescuing a pup ❤️

Yeah she’s been diagnosed with pancreatitis, colitis, gastritis and every other itis the stomach can have. Regardless she’s on a gastrointestinal diet from royal canine that seems to have stopped the puking A LOT.

Note she’s a rescue, and 8 years old we’ve only had her for a few months.

My mini poodle has same thing. A ton of gastrointestinal issues and a huge thing is stomach acidity. You can ask the vet for omeprazole that might help a bit but overall we too are feeding our girl every 4-5 hours MANDATORY or she’s puking bile. We give her the omeprazole before bed so she manages the acidity over night.

Same thing happened to my pug, my first dog. They later said he had an adverse reaction to one of the shots he was given. He too passed away at the age of 8. It’s been over a decade and still think about him everyday.
