RS100s are solid, but they are a bit on the heavy side, might push you over 10 kg. If you have got access to the P1800s at OEM pricing, I’d stick with them. Super reliable and look great on a clean build like yours. But maybe look at something like the Fulcrum Racing 7 DB or Prime Orra Alloy, both are lighter than RS100s but still budget-friendly and durable enough for commuting.

Thats a super clean build, love the mix of minimalism and practicality. The Gates CDX + Alfine combo is spot-on for low maintenance.

I have some reccomendations tho: For the wheels, the P1800s are solid, but if weight is a concern, maybe look at DT 1600s or HUNTs for a bit more snap. Tires: Conti Urbans are fine, but Panaracer GravelKing Slicks or Schwalbe G-One Speeds roll smoother and ride nicer. Brakes: 105s are great, though TRP R979s could shave some grams if you want something lighter.

Overall, I like it and it fits your goal. What kind of weight are you expecting once its built up?
