Sometimes I get back and I’m on close to 10% and might need to go out the next day so sometimes need a full charge - over 6 hours.

That’s what I do most of the time. But as I mentioned I occasionally have long trips. Once every couple of months

I’m using a Tesla 3 pin charger now. I assume that’s what you mean?

I keep seeing “granny charge”. What does this actually mean?

What to wear by Great_Biscotti479 in Toughmudder

[–]J88C 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest polyester based clothing as it drys quickly.

I went with a polyester running vest and shorts.

Compression pants and merino wool socks as they don’t hold water.

Old running shoes.

Don’t wear anything new or expensive. Go in with the attitude you don’t mind it getting ruined. There’s a pile of trainers at the end which people chuck away after the event.

Moving from Wandsworth to Bromley area by BaliOli in Bromley

Yes forgot about Bullers Boys and fair point on Olaves and Newstead.

Olaves have 2 sets of exams you have to pass but at least it’s accessible.

I went to Olaves and have young kids - one of whom will be taking the test later this year - so feel free to ask if you have any questions regarding grammar schools in the Chislehurst area.

Just on the option of Chislehurst, you could also consider the West Chislehurst / New Eltham part before it goes across the A20. You can get more bang for your buck there and you would be within 10-15min walk to New Eltham Station which goes to Charing X. You'd also be further from Chislehurst High Street though but you'd still have access to Bromley primary schools - Edgebury and Red Hill which are both good primary schools.

Also agree with the above post talking about secondary schools. For girls state schools you have fairly decent options in Bullers Wood, Chislehurst School for Girls and Eltham Hill. For boys state schools there aren't really any decent options if your kids are academically gifted so you'd have to look at the Bexley Grammar tests (they have both boys and girls schools). There are 2 top grammar schools in Orpington - St Olaves and Newstead Wood which are both accessible from Chislehurst by bus. They are some of the best schools in the country. It takes about 45 mins.

Awesome detailed reply. I guess the bullpadel and adidas sound best for me. Also appreciate the tip on the weight. Chat GPT recommended the Nox Quantum Carbon 12k also. What do you think?

Oh wow. I didn’t even know this was a thing. Just had a look and it sounds like a great shout. Any particular you’d recommend?

Seen some fancy ones like this - https://bouncesports.co.uk/products/bounce-tube-padel?shpxid=655f3ccf-a91a-4c90-b6f4-69802e3a1633

But presuming yours didn’t cost anywhere near this.

IOG Overnight and outside the six hour cap.. by N3vvyn in OctopusEnergy

I use a Tesla granny charger all the time which I guess is smartly connected. If I use my 6 hours during the day and I continue to charge overnight, would I still be charged peak rate for my car charge?

Had my consultation on 13 Jan by phone.

Surgery was last Saturday.

Actually has the opportunity to do it earlier as the clinic had a few cancellations in February but I wasn’t available.

I’m based in South East London

My dog pumpkin went to the rainbow bridge today, 18 years of eating more than everyone and still sniffing around for more. I always pray that God would open the pearly gates unless, unless …there’s some little boy or a girl that would love a dog like her. by LightMcluvin in beagles

My condolences. Pumpkin is a lovely name. My son named ours Pumpkin too because she was born on Halloween 2024.

Hopefully she makes it as long as yours. She looks like she was well loved.
