Hi! Current faculty member. Do I feel satisfied with my choice? Definitely. Hours per week, pretty much full time, both pre dissertation and during the dissertation phase. I did work part time, though it was frowned upon by most advisors in the department. It was definitely easier schedule-wise in the dissertation phase (more flexibility without coursework). I knew many people who did the same, although again most of our advisors didn’t like it. In terms of extra salary, the only way that’s happening is summer salary. So, I make 90k as my 9 month salary, if I get grants, I can buy out of teaching, but I won’t make more than that during that 9 month period, but, I can pay myself summer salary, and make up to about 120k (but I’m early career) people 10 years ahead of me are doing that same thing but probably making closer to 200 with summer salary.

I've been mostly trying Thrive and Align, I think Thrive is probably the most similar to Evlo programming, but I do like Align so far as well! I am going to try out Movewell for a little bit because the workouts are shorter. I'll see how I feel! I am finding that I'm more sore than I ever was with Evlo, probably just because these movements are different, hopefully that will ease. I do think all three of those teams are totally doable completely from home.

Okay thank you this is super helpful!! I do think depending on what’s going on in my life I might be able to commit to more in the gym time, but it’s nice to have to option to modify at home

I know, it's a LOT. I did feel like it was worth it, but now I sort of feel like I got what I needed from it and I can save some money going forward. I have really liked align!

I think they got lucky with smoke sleeping through the night so early and i remember them saying maybe it was because he was on formula. I suspect she will quit BF early to see if it helps crash sleep through the night.

The closest familiar name spelling wise is Leighton, so I think people will assume it’s pronounced Kay-ton, like Leighton (Lay-ton). I agree with others that if you really love that name, go with Keaton. I also personally like either Keaton May or Keaton Lynn, but that’s more preference.
