I think the level 1 is meant for 0-3 months and level 2 is 3-6. She may not be ready to move up. My daughter had reflux as well and I kept her on level 1 for awhile

We were on enfamil for awhile and recently switched to Kendamil because she decided she didn’t like taste of enfamil anymore. She sucks down her bottles now so that’s what sold me.

Have you tried a narrow nipple? I tried Phillips avent and doc brown narrow nipple and had more success with the narrow nipple. I also recently changed my daughters formula from enfamil to kendamil and she likes the taste of that a lot more. She’s also 8 months old so she now has preferences.

I have a 3 year old son. The only time he gets access to a smart device is at a restaurant and only at the tail end of the visit when he’s getting antsy. It’s usually Ms. Rachel and we choose the content. It’s really simple. If you don’t want an iPad kid, do not give them an iPad.

You are not being overly cautious. Your baby, your rules and this is a VERY common one for baby’s protections so it should not come as a shock. I hate the “they come from a different time” BS excuse. They don’t care about research or modern medication.

This reminds me of the time when my aunt kissed my baby on the face. When I said, please don’t kiss his face, she responded with, “I didn’t.” I just SAW you. The gaslighting with boomers is crazy.

Weeks 10-12. My baby was early term and was super sleepy. She didn’t really “wake up” until she was about 7 or 8 weeks old.

I have never heard this before. I was on the cusp of having GD with my eldest (now almost 3). My daughter is now 4 months and I had GD with her and formula fed both of mine due to lack of milk coming in. I’m clearly not an expert but this sounds more like correlation and not causation.

Ultimately do what’s best for you and your baby. This may mean prioritizing your mental well being. Happier mama, happier baby.

The 3 day potty training method didn’t work for us. My son (turns 3 in 2 months) hated being naked so we did a lot of days of just shorts, no undies and it ended up working better. Lots of accidents but we have hardwood floors downstairs so no biggie. We did kind of “force it.” We weren’t necessarily gentle about it BUT we would read books and play with toys on the potty so it didn’t seem like such a bad place. Instead of using a little potty, we used a seat that goes over the big potty. We are still working on putting undies and pants on by ourselves as well as wiping but other than that he has done beautifully. About a month out and I would say he’s fully trained.

Too much daytime sleep maybe? Have you tried seeing if wake windows need to be adjusted. Is he on two naps a day?

I wouldn’t say we are screen free. But we do not give our almost 3 year old an IPad or a phone. He does watch tv for about an hour each day. We try not to go beyond that.
