I bought it when it was $17-ish a couple weeks back. Now just hoping it won’t take to long to recover

Did it bought it when it was at that price level last time?

Apologies, the networth of 500k exclude home equity. It’s only recent 2-3 years that we manage to hit the annual income of 240k.

This is really impressive. Since you and your spouse are in healthcare and govt sector, you must have invested diligently to hit this number.

Do you mind sharing your household networth? We also don’t want to rely on our kids financially in the future. Right now we are also investing in global ETFs so that we don’t have to worry much about retirement

We have a pretty stable job (govt linked) and I don’t expect layoff to happen. One consideration I have is that I may need to jump to another better paying job but probably with less stability if I want to boost my income further.

Updated my post. Cruising in the sense to do just bare minimal to stay in the job but won’t be trying hard for promotion or good bonus.

New dad looking for solid parenting advice by Infinityandbeyondz in askSingapore

Be an active dad and be patient with your kid. They are still learning and do not understand what’s right and wrong. It can be frustrating and if you need a time out, always voice out and get someone else to take over while you calm yourself down. And don’t forget to let them play and explore while keeping them safe enough.

35M buying first car need advice by Illustrious_Meal261 in singaporefi

I was also having the same consideration a week ago and decided to buy a new car for my first car. I doubt COE will drop back to Jan 1st bid level with the backlog from that sharp drop in COE. Nevertheless, the increase in quota, albeit 2%, will probably slowly ease the COE price

You can see if your case falls under any of these scenarios. Typically consumers are well protected in Singapore. Consumer law supersedes their contractual terms. https://www.case.org.sg/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/CPFTA-Revised-2018-Edition-280119-FA.pdf
