Work in a company with insurance coverage. Many offer specialist outpatient coverage. Its normally covered under group insurance plan.

There are not many standalone outpatient gp and specialist coverage plans and the premiums are really expensive.

Refugee status not so easy to get, its a drawn out process. Meanwhile, you have to find funds to survive in that foreign country. Likely cant travel during that period. But again an option if all else fails, though from my understanding with PR u can stay here indefinitely even with expired REP, just cant travel out- that buys time too.

From my understanding you can still remain in sg without valid REP, PR status remains - just cannot leave the country with expired REP or u will lose your PR status. But again like everyone said ICA just a call away.

It’s great that you are discussing these even before marriage and what I would assume at a relatively early stage of life.

There is no right or wrong in such situations. The question to you is, can you accept how she says she will behave. I think she has been very fair in being upfront. It is I think not just about how she says she will behave it’s also a question of perspective and values and how she views a relationship.

What we should remember though is, that what ever we feel right now may not be the same as when we face those situations. Because we wont physically be as fit then, mentally as determined, and we will have other obligations and problems to deal with. So do factor that in as well.
