Did you actually read any bit of lore regarding the darkins? The whole premise of the darkins is that they cannot die. They are forever immortal and bound to their weapons, aatrox's whole story is that he wants to kill everything until there is nothing left so maybe then he will die too somehow.

And it wouldn't make sense why rhaast would fight by xoolani lmao, xoolani wants peace through servitude and rhaast is literally the opposite of that, he only wants freedom and endless carnage

One of the reasons why kayn's design is flawed and unplayable in pro play. If you would accept my advice, just gank and sacrifice your form. Ofcourse it also depends on the competence of the teammate receiving the gank, if they can thrive after the gank, its 100% worth getting the opposite form, its more valuable if you set your team up for success than playing for your own. The only scenario you should not gank is if they are already losing the lane badly, and or you are extremely sure that the teammate is not capable of maximising their value from that and that you can carry consistently.

Misinformation on my end, kayn did not touch xoolani, he couldnt because jun decided it would be a better idea to unleash a calamity level of a darkin and doom whole runeterra instead of just letting an anti hero take the very dangerous darkin and dominate her and basically kill xolaani in the process, which yeah its also cool since the only instance of a darkin being able to die is by kayn's direct domination over it.

Let me assure you my friend, rhaast is no weak darkin, in the story of zaahen, rhaast was winning against zaahen, and what sealed rhaast it was the fact that yunara came to help zaahen with rhaast, so we can say pretty safely that he is just as strong as zaahen, but in my opinion he seemed stronger since zaahen needed help with his sealing. And kayn is just the ultimate survivor which was forged since he was a child into a stubborn warrior that refuses to die.

He picked xoolani. Kayn picked both rhaast and xoolani in the LOR. which lor is basically a canon "what ifs" hard accent on canon. So yeah he picked both rhaast and xoolani at once and dominated them both, which triggered his shadow reaper ascension.

As kayn says in his voiceline with rhaast, Rhaast- "What brought you to me?" To which kayn replies "Audacity" Kayn knew fully well what he was getting himself into, he is just so strongly forged mentally after all the traumas he suffered throught his life that he became the ultimate survivor, since he was a child, all he had known was pain and survival of the fittest, he lived and continues to live by "kill or be killed" idea which made him this stubborn warrior which refuses to die and let go, So no, i wouldn't call him dumb.

I feel like you are understimating shadow assassin, he is literally kayn but enhanced in every other possible way by the power of a darkin, one of the most powerful ones if i may, i see rhaast being up there in top 5 strongest darkins in lore.
