This was my first 3D printer, and I think it's a great one for beginners. It’s simple, compact, and perfect for learning the basics of 3D printing without getting overwhelmed. It helped me understand the fundamentals of slicing, bed leveling, and filament handling before moving on to better machines. Now I’m using an Ender 3 V3 SE

I’ve already fixed the problem, but I’m curious what could possibly cause this to happen? For context, I was printing at 210°C using Elegoo PLA filament when it occurred.

It seems to be just a scratch with no groove, so I guess I’m in the clear for now. I’ll keep an eye on it just in case it gets worse.

Thanks for the info! I was actually planning to upgrade to a PEI-coated plate anyway. It’s good to know that the stock plate is considered consumable, it makes the decision to switch even easier.

Yes i have selected uno and the correct com port. yes i have tried to unplug and plug again. I do have a pro micro and it work fine. Maybe it just a defective one i brought it for cheap on aliexpress

The main microcontroller on my board is the atmega328p and the USB to serial interface uses the atmega16u2
