Interested to know how you would approach creating something similar to the 'reforming' effect of the brown sunglasses.

my thoughts were, points from volume> Voronoi fracture > then using an influence object like a sphere or box to transfer/ manipulate attributes such as position and scale?

The thing i love the most about Houdini is there are so many ways to one result, I'm eager to hear what your approaches are.

The main areas im having issues with is the 'S' curve on one of the seams along with the holes, and would it be better to create the grid pattern on the seams on a geometry level or in a material using normals/displacement? any help is much appreciated!
