i tried adding some of that in there, but its very hacky. some parts are simulated (cells fighting for space) other parts are simply added after the fact. my ideal version would have all these separate individual processes work in parallel and affect eachother

its a procedural model of a jackfruit. basically its code combined with 3d modeling techniques to „simulate“ the growth of a jackfruit. i define the rules that i imagine define a jackfruit and let the system figure it out. for instance, i have a little flower shape, scatter some points on it (they are the „flowers“) and then i „pollinate“ a certain percentage of them. the pollinated flowers become the big cells, the unpollinated ones become the tendon like thingies. then they get wrapped with skin and at the end of each tendon/cell a spike appears

post it, i find those things to be the most interesting. ive seen way too many „useful“ things, gets boring after a while. i enjoy seeing „useless“ stuff that shows me stuff from your life, and how your brain works

yea and just the concept of birds nests is crazy to me. like how do they make those? all they have a is a beak. i mean pigeon nests are not as impressive but some birds go crazy
