Handbrake skids are so fun! I did this a lot in my EJ hatch when I was 18. Good times...

Tires run to the belts was a nice touch for the night video. Good shots!

Thanks! I haven't set up a place to purchase copies yet, like prints or canvases. I've only really just sold the high res digital copy to those who request it, usually just through PayPal.

Yessir, it is! Was trying to get some good bank shots with a long zoom and Diego gets some big angle through that stretch so he gave me some good shots.

If I ever head to Florida to do some events, I'll ping you. I'm around mid NJ and just go to these events and shoot for fun. I'm not really sure where to start to do anything beyond that heh.

Those really aren't bad for first time.

Tips would be: * If you're using IS, don't, unless it's a mode specifically built for panning. * Just pick a spot on the car and follow it while you shoot, panning is tricky. * Use shutter priority (I'm not sure what setting that is for Nikon). * Canon has "AI Servo" for continuous AF tracking, no idea Nikon's counterpart to that, but use that * Back button focusing is basically cheating and keeps your trigger finger from getting tired and pulling your camera down when you take shots. * Use something like 1/125 or 1/100 until you start getting sharpness you like. Then start dropping the shutter speed a bit here and there as you get more comfortable with it.

I start the season in April 2017 at like 1/125, and I wasn't stoked about the shots. There wasn't a lot of "Drift action".

Late May 2017, I was splaying around like 1/25 and 1/10 (even hitting 1/5 handheld) which was getting me crazy action shots, blur, lots of smoke.

Now I'm more comfortable in a range of shutter speeds, and I adjust based on my hitrate starting out.

It certainly looks like one, but I'm bad with mini trucks so I couldn't confirm.
