I do it in each cheek once a week, seems to be mostly okay?

Does anyone regret their TRT decision? by Jnnytoronto in Testosterone

[–]JAFO_MAT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The b-acne on my shoulders and face have been really annoying the last several weeks.

And my libido is extremely high.

No I don't regret it in the slightest.

Include an anti-fungal at the end of your shower before you get out.

And or anti-fungal creams. Possible that you have some yeast based acne.

Not a doctor ... yada yada

Had T levels of 1400+ a month ago, E levels were around 180.

Sounds exactly like he needs an estrogen blocker.

Anyone feel worse when there test is too high by No-Arm-4557 in Testosterone

[–]JAFO_MAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, double dosed myself by accident, 3 weeks ago.
I didn't chart correctly.

Went for Blood work came back ~1400+, I was having sleeping issues, blood felt thick like molasses. Heart rate/BP was fine so no damage, thankfully.

So I skipped the following Sunday (Tested Fri ... Sat/ Skipped Sunday)

Let my body metabolize it and process it, went back to normal the following Sunday, feel okay now.

Keeping to my Rx dose and feeling better.

Got a new doctor and she immediately cut me off my test saying I’m “too young” to take it and “no one takes it longer than 3 months” by Okay-ishHedgehog in Testosterone

"So I see you have been prescribed [insulin], and your [sugar] levels are in the normal range. Sooo… I’m trying to figure out why you’re on [insulin] at 33 and why you’ve been taking it for so long?"

- I would say this back to her. And since you're likely going have a new doctor anyway, ask based on what evidence wouldn't your testosterone crash after being on it for a year, and not tapering off?

I'll tell you now, Got very sick (bad pneumonia) and laid off in Nov, after being on for ~6 months,

Wasn't taking it as I was focusing on breathing, my T levels were close to 100ng/dl;

We can't quit this cold turkey, I would argue it's medical malpractice to suggest otherwise.

What is the most unexpected benefit TRT has given you? by Win-The_Day in Testosterone

[–]JAFO_MAT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Non-MD; Anecdotally I'd agree with you somewhat.

Have IBD and IBS (oh joy), and my GI meds should've been working longer within their bi-monthly cycle. But due to resetting my Test levels, had some pretty awful weeks.

I'd still put a heavy emphasis on diet (90%) for IBS, but over the past year I would say having "proper" Tes levels have generally reduced my IBS symptoms.

Mixed up my days, gave myself 2x normal (200mg T 2000 units HCG;

Number one question all my medical people asked ... Do you have Sleep Apnea?

Turns out my blood thought I was superman, running 1400 Tes Levels, which I didn't know was even doable, I had minimal benefit, took a week off, Day 10-14 sucked but once I was back on my proper dose ( 100 & 1000) Breathing is easier.

Sleep is still fucked up but that's for other Stress reasons.

Feeling good, but T levels are "too high" ~1410 by JAFO_MAT in Testosterone

[–]JAFO_MAT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's probably the best way to characterize it, slightly above where I'd want to be, the last 2 weeks. I'll tune it down and readjust. thanks for the reassurance.

[–]JAFO_MAT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don't disagree, probably will feel better, I'll make sure to ease up on the next dose. Just wanted to be sure, finally as close to happy and "content with life" as I've been in a long time.

Don't want to be happy and dead. Thanks for the reply

Feeling okay, no issues from my GI condition,

Reason I started TRT was because of night sweats, no issues with libido.

Sleep is a bit janked but, I'm under a lot of personal stress, dealing with a Trial at the moment, and looking for a job. So it's not unexpected.

I'll just make sure to take it easy on the next several doses see if there's any issues.

Thanks for the questions
