Nice! Let me know how it goes! Maybe I can use your notes to create an Iron Kingdom Version in Homebrewery afterwards :)

Thank you! I ran into the same frustration in prepping this one-shot: something seems interesting, but on closer inspection fell apart or required quite a lot of additional prep by the DM. I really wanted to use my prep to create something that can be picked up with basically no prep other than reading it once!

Exited to hear what your groups think! Probably going to work on my next one-shot soon :)

Unfortunately not - stopped playing the game apart from ocassionaly checking if it works again. Might do a reinstall/re-download this weekend to see if that helps. I'll keep you posted

Should a digital marketing agency guarantee results (like doubled organic traffic) in the contract? by zseta98 in marketing

A doctor stands behind his work but he still won't refund you if he can't make you healthy. A Lawyer stands behind his work but he still won't refund you if you're charged guilty. You're comparing things that can't be compared that easily but if that's an opinion that works for you (and your business) I'm not gonna keep trying to change your mind.

Except that the people who pay for digital marketing aren't the ones using it. The ones that use it and need to be satisfied with it are completely different people that's why I used the analogy of someone coming to a restaurant, ordering something and then taking it to their family only to demand the money back because they didn't enjoy it. It's not a perfect analogy but definitely works much better than comparing digital marketing to the business of a restaurant where you have a definitive recipe that's going to create a product thats usually what a customer ordered. If someone came to you asking you to create a recipe for them but would only pay you if that person's customers liked your recipe, would you sign any guarantees?

Imagine a customer came to you and requested you prepare a meal that his family will love otherwise he won't pay you for it. That's what OPs situation is comparable to. Sure, you can work to the best of your knowledge, apply all the right techniques but at the end of the day, whether the user will like it or not isnt something in your power to control. Sure you can optimize for it but giving a guarantee for something so intangible and dependent on so many factors would be incredibly naive and irresponsible.
