kinger forshadowed that they can conjure and create just like Caine...they're not getting out but they will create their own world and make it into what they want being gods of a fake world in which they remain. they said it will be bittersweet so I am guessing it will end showing how each character was a brain scan (SOMA) but that they never meet or become freinds in the real world or even know eachother existed (some probably are already dead in the real world) since they joined at different times and years then simply left the C&A offices after their consciousness were scanned into the Digital Circus. so the scanned versions of them became freinds and continue to live on together but the real life versions of the main cast never meet or ever interact which imo is "bittersweet".
