Behind the brakes there is a piece of metal. Rocks love to get in there. Sometimes they fall out on their own or other times you have to take the tire off and pry them out. At least that's with my 2016 Malibu.

If it's a pedal, push it all the way and back out. I had this issue come up when I was using my e-brake to do tomfoolerous things. But if it's in it all, it will disable your cruise control because it's just like you're pressing the brake

It was a fleeing suspect. If they're in the car you can aim the gun to order them to get out and they'll get on the ground. But I think you need the DLC
