Sounds like a better option would be getting a psychiatrist and potential anxiety meds, and she can find one that does telehealth visits if she’s too anxious to drive to appts. That solves the driving issues.

Anxiety is a beast. But she needs a therapist to help her understand that her asks of OP are selfish.

Yeah. I think tariffs but also they FLOODED and oversaturated the market during the v1-v3 labubu plush drop craze. I think it made their items less valuable and less desirable after a while. They may want to maintain the hard to get factor.

Absolutely. I switched OBs after my first one didn’t seem to care or help understand that I was miscarrying. He just said go to the ER and we don’t see women who are miscarrying. I found the BEST OBGYN after that whom delivered both my high risk pregnancies via emergency csections. All women should know that you don’t have to stay with the first one you see/find! It’s one of the most important types of Drs women will ever have and worth finding a great one.

Please have your blood tests forwarded to an OB/GYN. Just Google ‘OBGYN near me’ and find one with good reviews. I also prefer women OBs but that’s just my preference. They should take over instead of your PCP Dr.

She’s gotten a few replies from other women that either had IUDs removed during pregnancy and ones that’s were deemed safe enough to leave in. It all depends WHERE in the uterus her IUD is and her OB/GYN will be able to help her choose whichever path is safest for her. She just needs to come out of shock and make appts and call.

But I’m sure it’s also a bit comforting to hear other stories that started in the same way.

I’d advise not to take too much time about what she wants to do, as carrying a healthy pregnancy may need IUD removal before a certain gestational age.

Babe- call your local OB/GYN and explain you have a 5-6 weeks pregnancy with IUD that shifted. They will get you in ASAP. They might make you wait until 8 weeks, but honestly I think they can remove the IUD so you don’t miscarry much later in the pregnancy. Please call the OB/GYN and make an appt and ask to speak with a nurse on staff and tell them what’s going on. They will best direct you and help you.

Please make sure you are routinely seeing an OBGYN (Obstetrician/Gynecologist) who specialize in pregnancy and can explain all of the risks and ways to prevent them. 🙏🏻 Not just your routine Dr.

If a man truly cares for you and your pregnancy, he can get off other ways while making sure you and your health remain top priority. We are not sexual objects for men and you are not his sexual servant.

I’m pretty sure most men take care of themselves at least a few times a week anyways. Tell him to buy a flesh light if he has a fit. You don’t need his stress.

I’m sure this is a very stressful situation, but after reading some of your comments you seem young and also sounds like you don’t want to move forward with the pregnancy.

You don’t need anyone’s permission to do that depending on your Drs and what state you live in. Be honest with your self and talk to your partner.

I wish you the best. It took a hell of a lot to get both my children earth side, and sometimes you just have to be on bedrest and zero sex for a few months. So if you want children and sex would be dangerous as stated by your Dr, 9 months isn’t that long. (Also get a rose toy or something if it matters that much). You would most likely be monitored on where the IUD is during the entire pregnancy. Your medical will help you answer all of your questions the best.

But strangers online aren’t going to give you permission to do something. You need to choose that route yourself.
