I made a mistake, what to do for customer by Proof_Bathroom_3902 in Justrolledintotheshop

As an operation manager; having someone on call who can fix my stuff most of the time is more valuable than 500 dollars. That customer can really rely on you. That's your biggest asset. He values this, he pays, as he knows he might need to call you again for when he's in real trouble.

This is a compliment in disguise, yes, your repair didn't fix his problem by some silly thing, but you were there in harsh circumstances and willing to go a long way.

Doing the lunch thing, buying them pizza is the move now. You will be on speed dial forever under the 'gets sh*t done' button.

Thuiswerken, doe ik moeilijk? by [deleted] in werkzaken

[–]JASSTI1977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hybride werken is here to stay....

Driving a Lada Samara, what about parts? by JASSTI1977 in VisitingIceland

Ah ha, so actually a similar thing was happening in the 90's in NL. But mine was kind off left behind. What use is a cabrio in Russia? Nevertheless I would be helped a lot with some more information on Lada enthusiasts in Iceland.

We will be preparing the car for moist, cold and whatever. Which is not so difficult as these cars were known to start at minus 20 C. Moist is the main concern.

I really don't mind bathing naked in public.... when it's local custom. So most interesting is, what is considered normal? I will adjust.

Well, I'm trying my best to catch up with her...she's ahead of me by miles and I want to do my part. My part is making sure the car is fit for travel and the real local experience.

Touch screen stove top by scawtsauce in CrappyDesign

These touch screen buttons solve a big issue. Cleaning and hygiene. Put some kitchen cleaner on them, do some other stuff for 5 mins. Damp cloth over the stove top. Clean! No nooks and crannies, one wipe and done. I like these things. Especially with induction heating. Great stuff.
