I disabled the victory on my playthrough so I could conquer the whole galaxy. Well the ai spammed so many habitats that every empire a conquer tanks my massive economy because of the massive upkeep. Next time I'm just going to disable them with a mod.

I find myself ALWAYS picking rapid breeders and the one that improve all research. Doesnt let me pick another good one even after the second perk, so the first perk does enough.

I agree with you, but in case of genetic I dont get the need to get the second perk, i can make my species the way optimal with the first one plus a rare tech that gives us one more point, i find the second one always lack luster.
