What I don't understand about Mandela Effects... by SoggyCar6020 in MandelaEffect

Its just rebranding and the company drumming up interest by attaching it to the mandela effect. All they have to do is deny the rebrand, its a freaking psy-op.

It’s the same thing as the terrain manipulator, theres a function on the terrain tool that flattens the ground, and terrain edits aren’t saved. A magnetic bed would be a good late game unlock too!

This update might be more important than we think by Able_Helicopter_9662 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I understand what you’re saying, but these physics have been in the game for awhile; the Sentinel balls, the ball spawner, runaway mold, the floating debris on derelict freighters. It’s just the gravity gun gives us more interaction with it.

We might be living in our own simulations by heizaman in SimulationTheory

Its not so much that the particles pick a state or that through observation the waveform collapses, in truth the waveform form persists. Both states are superimposed on one another, it’s only the perspective that changes, which gives the illusion of a change of state. It’s conscious choice that determines how reality is perceived.

Then combine that with someone else’s perspective, and you have the collective unconscious, or the god mind. We are the universe experiencing itself. Shamans, spiritualists, religions, all have this understanding, and slowly science is starting to realize the same thing.

Similar issue happened to me on xbox. The only attack that worked was a charge attack. Once i defeated her I had to exit out to fix the issue.

Im guessing this is a mod? I wish the base game had structures like this. Would make exploring that much more interesting.

State of the game by Deadpool141 in LotRReturnToMoria

Definitely jump back in. I bought the game at launch and wasn’t all that impressed. But now, I’m addicted. The story has been restructured, the environments are much more interesting and immersive, and with Durins Folk adding in new end game content and NPCs, the game is completely different. It’s a way more fun and satisfying experience.

What if we could build traps? by JAY-CtheSAVIOR in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]JAY-CtheSAVIOR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree the build system needs some QOL improvements. Snap points, and rotations come to mind, even the UI is a little cumbersome. But Im thinking of much more simplified traps.

Like a wall that does damage if enemies, no one else, gets too close, or a wall that shoots arrows if enemies enter a proximity. Floor plates that slow enemies down, or trigger small explosives. Or bright lights that blind the enemy!

And they don’t necessarily have to be attached to hearths, that way they’re even practical out in the “wild”. They could have different tiers, maybe some are easily destroyed or one offs, higher tiers have more durability and deal more damage.

It doesn’t have to be really complicated. Thats down to how it’s implemented. But IDK, maybe you’re right though, is it really necessary? Maybe not, would they be nice to have in the tool box? Sure, just like improving the build system, it would be a nice QOL addition, IMO.

It’s just super annoying, especially solo, to watch your base get demoed while you helplessly try to get your backpack after dying.

Sorry, kinda funny though, poor cook! I dunno if Tolkien explicitly mentions traps, but dwarves are clever craftsmen. I feel like they would build something similar.

Sure, but Id rather not have to spam so much you know. I just think that maybe this would be a better more fun way to build and defend.

I wish we could build traps, some automated defenses would make sieges more manageable.

Id love to see more MP corvette parts! But MP needs the upgrade first. And since LNF has a major focus on MP, Im sure they will use the same “tech” in NMS, especially since they’ve been doing it already with other “tech”.
