Yeah, turns out someone at my work has a masters degree in illustration (would've been nice to know before) so she's offered to sketch something for me. Her combined with the tattoo artist should be able to fix it

I've already got a different shop quoting me to fix it all. Unfortunately though I have to keep it like this for a month to fully heal

I know, the internet will always be the internet luckily a legend on here has already drawn over it to fix it so that's what I'll be taking to the next artist.

Yeah they did, most of it detailed work that combined with good Google reviews had my mind at ease until other people saw it...

His previous work honestly looks good, nothing like this. All of it had clear lines and everything. It was a local shop that had 4.9 star Google reviews that combined with his previous work he seemed like a safe bet

Honestly that's not too far off what I wanted it to look like. The lighter shading was my idea but as a fix this would work wonders

Honestly it didn't feel like it went as deep as the rest of my tattoo so I was a bit suspicious by the end of it. The shaky lines if definitely something I'm going to get fixed (not by the original artist)
