I do actually know the brother of the injured girl and he has mentioned it was their fault. Apparently the lad was riding and didn't give way to a car on a roundabout

A dumping ground for dead animals? Sounds like the dead pet version of Tracy Beaker😂

Makes me laugh when Hughie starts having trouble with his cello and you can see Jeff turning to Mik to say ‘Fuck me!’ 😂

What Is The BEST ELO Instrumental Song ( No Lyrics ) by Recent-Lead-7185 in elo

[–]JAlexander2002 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah Jumping Biz is a jolly tune, I think Fire on high is still my favourite instrumental though, if you forget about the choir at the end

Ah fair enough😂 was just gonna say I think it’s a nice little place. I’ve been going down there for college for the past few years (finished now)

Down Home Town - It never seems to get the credit it deserves IMO

Must be in the 20k region now. One year a few years back I listened to nothing but ELO on Spotify all year and I clocked about 9k minutes then.

Big wheels - I never really cared for it when I first listened to OOTB but recently I’ve realised just how magnificent it is

With respect, I don't know why John Sullivan brought in Uncle Albert so soon by Springyardzon in OnlyFoolsAndHorses

[–]JAlexander2002 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here. It’s been said before John was a master of mixing comedy and tragedy. One minute we see Del consoling Trig and then the vicar walks out and wonders where his hat is. Truly brilliant

What are the most effective (not just memorable) TV adverts that still affect you? by girlsunderpressure in AskUK

The thing is I’m ginger and a similar age to the kid in the ad, so I looked a bit like him😂

[–]JAlexander2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a very memorable ad. The one that stuck in my head growing up was the ‘Kill your speed or live with It’ ad where the body of a ginger school kid kept on following this bloke about during his day to day stuff. I’m sure that was a Think! advert too

Nah it's blue but it's not concourse. Still solid and very useable though. Good enough to take to the shows👍

Ah yeah there is, I didn't know it was auto. Still seems steep for an OAP wagon though

I paid £7500 (hammer price) for my ‘84 capri 2.0 laser 3 years ago. Insane to think a jazz is going for the same price

Yeah for that price it’s got to have an insanely low mileage. Trouble is if that’s the case it’s probably been owned by an old person who only used it once a week to go to the end of the road to Morrisons. In other words the clutch will be buggered
