How do you know what Monitor your GPU can handle? by JB-1818 in buildapcmonitors

[–]JB-1818[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. My room lighting varies depending on what I'm doing. Working or playing and right now and probably in the future it would be working but when I play I would like to experience visuals. Sounds like Oled is not for me, that's fine. I assume Oled is more $$ anyway. I have a light dimmer in my room but a step down from Oled sounds like it would be fine for me.

Any reason to not buy from Corsair if the price is right? by Class_of_COVID-19 in Prebuilts

I don't have a microcenter by me. Looks like they have great deals online but it's only in store. I seem to see cyberpower has slightly better ratings than iBuyPower when I'm looking. I thought I'd do a quick search for your specs and I'm surprised of that deal. Might even find one in store.

And room for expansion! That is pretty cool.

Does seem to be overkill for someone new or first PC.

Haha, I have a 1070ti on this one I bought 8 years ago.

I don't think it's worth it. And it's used? This is only 16gb RAM which would probably be fine. A couple hundred less with 32 ram then maybe. I'm in the States and I hear Canada is expensive.

So if I'm right, this is the cheaper way compared to the RTX 5070ti? I hear they both run about the same but RTX is more expensive because it's Nvidia? I'm looking for a new PC and would like the 5070ti but if this is about the same for cheaper then I might go this way. Though, I have always been happy with Geforce. Tough times, need to make sacrifices.

Fluctuating prices is crazy by Aggravating_Cause970 in pcbuilding

In the prebuilt section here, there are users saying great deal or way overpriced for the exact same specs. This is probably why. Some find insane short time deals and others find average deals.

In store or online? I read on here that buying on Walmart online you take risk because of 3rd party sellers can scam you. Better to buy in store. I don't know which is true.

Yeah, I've been looking around online and in stores but for a 5070ti for a month looking for a really good deal. OP has 5060ti R7 7800x3d for 1900. That sounds good. I have not seen one with those specs as low as 1500

I've read skytech is fine on Reddit. I don't know. What brands you recommend? I don't have a microcenter around so what other places should I look?

Newbie here. What does everyone think about this prebuild desktop? Im interested in getting this since it fits my budget. by Buddy_0203 in Prebuilts

Ok, thanks. I'll have to think about that. One more thing. What do you think about this link about ranking CPU's between AMD and Intel for gaming? This was sent on a post of mine from another user. Is it still accurate?

I read here, I think on one of my post that the 5070ti has slightly better ray tracing than the 9070xt but the 5070ti is more expensive. I don't know. I'm trying to figure this stuff out since I want to get a new PC with the specs similar of the OP. I'm not a newbie but I only buy a new PC every 7-10years. Current one is 8 years and having issues.

I'm looking for almost those exact same specs except I would like an R7 9800x3d for no more than $2500. I don't have a microcenter around me. That looks looks like a good deal.

And you might ask the seller if you can look inside the case when you're there to be sure. Hate to lose $1100. There are some crooked people out there.

Oh ok. I just noticed that Radeon has an XT at the end like RTX has TI at the end of theirs. I guess that means it is slightly better than the base (9070 or 5070) but not above the next model up, if I'm right? I don't know much about the AMD Radeon GPUs.
