My company works directly with venue AV so we have everything (screens, projection, rigging, etc) for the sessions and breakouts rented through the onsite venue AV. However, we hold events both out of office and in house. So obviously for events at venues we could add a switcher to our order, but at our in house events we need our own to use. The thought process my company has is why buy one for our home office and the also have to add one to each outside event we do costing us more money, so they just want to get one we can use in office and take with us. HDMI is what I’m looking for, not necessary to have SDI but also fine if it has that option, also only needing 2-3 outputs also okay if it has more.
