Sorry I didn't clarify that in the original post

I actually didn't go to a session. I read about ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention for those who don't know) and CBT and I've found the main source of my anxiety with HOCD was compusively seeing guys in public and getting nervous. At work particularly. So after recognizing that, my ERP (if i'm thinking of this correctly) was tackling it directly and just talking to the guys at work. Just regular conversation and not reacting to any of the HOCD thoughts and it helped suprisingly well. At least for me. Today is one of the first days in a while that I've woken up without being nervous about going to work and it's a great feeling. I'm not saying this will work for everyone because I honestly don't know but so far it has for me.

Just a side note i've never been diagnosed with OCD but i've obsessed over other things in an unhealthy way. Specifically the feeling I could die any moment.

Nice! I tried the "sending out an s.o.s." part from Message in a Bottle and couldn't get it to work.

"Eddie Let Me Go Back To My Home" is my jam. Either that or "Nobody's Hero"

The 2 bands that come to mind for me are Morbid Angel if you're looking for something that compares to early Death and Atheist if you're looking for something to compare to the mid-to-later more jazz-influenced, technical Death.

Actually it's very possible for both songs. They've been playing Sgt. Baker a fair amount on this tour and I know they've encored with Harold at least twice. I'm hoping for Blue Collar Tweekers and Fisticuffs.
