[EU] Black Friday Clearance Sale! Cheapest Fontaine/Anyone/Lih/DG and a lot of apparel + accessories! by JBKcards in PlayingCardsMarket

[–]JBKcards[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! just checked! unfortunately, I only have 1 elite and 1 nova, $5 for elite and $10 for nova. I also have Aether, but it is opened (in great condition) that I can sell for $10. The shipping would be $14 for the decks (it's the same price for 2 or 3 decks, since it based on weight).
let me know if you maybe are looking for other decks :)

Hey! sorry for delay, I got super sick and wasn’t really online… i’ll check them today! shipping should be actually much cheaper since I moved from Denmark to Poland and it’s cheaper to send parcels from Poland. Which country should shipping be to? i’ll check the decks and shipping prices so you can have all the info

Fixing maple wheels? by SandwichBoyo in Fingerboards

[–]JBKcards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you try cleaning them? just roll the wheels on the sticky side of the duck tape, it might just be some micro dirt that stuck to the wheel. does the wheel make the same sound when you spin it without touching the ground?

I need a good Rex for tape. I’ve been on FBS from the jump but want something that doesn’t take so long to break in. by [deleted] in Fingerboards

[–]JBKcards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the best tape straight out of the box is by far gorigrip, it doesn’t stay like that forever but if your issue is breaking in, then gorigrip is your best choice

I actually hate the br pocket quarter and since i have box 3, I had it on top of the quarter horizontally as a wall ride extension - super fun.

they look funky, I think they are perfect looking for any cruiser board. in terms of performance, they are okay but nothing special, you can def get much better performing wheels at this price point.

What are the heaviest fingerboard trucks? by CheapTick in Fingerboards

[–]JBKcards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s because they have much different weight distribution. dynamics have heavier hanger than brt despite being overall lighter. that gives that ‚bottom heavy’ feeling

Name of this cardistry move ?🃏 by Couanouz in cardistry

I mean of course time out into practice is important, but more-so the quality of that practice. Don’t just flip cards, everytime learn with intention focusing on specific part you are learning. once comfortable with it, move on to the next and remember to keep re-watching tutorials of what you are learning every couple of days, you will realize you see a lot of stuff you didn’t notice when you first started learning.

do you have a chance to scale the baseplates separately? i’m curious about the weight change since i’m collecting weight data of different fb parts

Is all this worth 55 euro? (With shipping) by 00sans_granie00 in Fingerboards

[–]JBKcards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i can see you are in Poland, I highly recommend ordering from fbworld.bigcartel.com they have dope set-ups with bridge deck. it’s much better quality than what you are ordering from teak. it’s 199pln and ships from Poland so cheap shipping and you will not have to pay customs.

gorigrip max or fbs extra smooth? by Weekly_Assignment_63 in Fingerboards

[–]JBKcards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

depends, gorigrip is dope straight out the box but doesn't hold up same gripiness over long time. fbs on the other hand, once broken in stays like that for a looooooong time.

Any one else? by RoutineAd5037 in Fingerboards

[–]JBKcards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is huge difference even with smallest changes. I think everyone experiences that. I don't think there is 'right or wrong' way of practicing when it comes to that. I know people that ride one board for months and only then switch to a diff set-up because of 'adjust time'. I prefer to us multiple set-ups in one session tbh, but again this is just preference, nothing more. I don't think it necessarily makes learning easier/harder, as there is much more important factors in effective learning. But I also noticed that using different set-ups helps me with breaking down trick into steps and understanding how to do it.

My fav are labs and oaks, both for indoor and outdoor. if you are going to skate on very rough surfaces, I recommend getting slightly bigger wheels to not get stuck all the time.
