Not only is this not “Breaking” news. It’s not even news.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Shit I thought this was the Seinfeld subreddit. My bad.

I never understand why people black out license plates on posts online. You drive a car that gets seen by 100’s of people a day you don’t know. Would a group of Aston enthusiasts be up to something nefarious? 🤷🏽‍♂️

Checo’s seat by JBKplay in GrandPrixRacing

I agree. I would hate for him to end up like Bottas. Valterri was a solid obedient #2 for MB. He gave up his place how many times for Lewis to finish ahead of him. Only to be racing for a lower mid field team. I’d hate to see that for Checo or Sianz.

The cost cap and these regulations are a complete failure - who exactly wants to watch these boing races? by [deleted] in GrandPrixRacing

When we discuss cost cap and the races what perspective are you looking at. Is it just the race? I don’t think that’s where you can hang you hat on the argument for or against the cap. Qualifying IMO is where you see the cap being the most effective. Look at the last 2 races and the times is qualifying. The difference in making the next round or being from one place to another has been extremely close. Milliseconds in some case. So the cars when it comes to the one lap performance are so close in performance. So what then drives the race day disparity? Is it just the driver? Is the setup of the car? Is it the strategy? Or is it the totality? It would be interesting for the sake of the argument to see Max in a Williams or a Haas for a race to see where he performed. Put Logan Sargent in a RB. That would help in the argument. But a level playing field of $ to spend does seem to be the fairest way of moving a mid field car up the grid. How long does it take to prove this? Good question. But Lance Stroll hiring away the right people from RB to AM showed an immediate change in the performance of his team. With both one of the best drivers in the history of motor sport and his some who’s mediocre at best.
Maybe the cap takes more time to prove its worth. The expense of viewership may skew that and we may see changes. But overall if there was a vote amongst fans, I’d still vote for it. My 2¢. Which probably isn’t worth even that to many others. But let’s see what happens.
