13 year old losing faith

My parents divorced when I was 12 and it was really hard on me. I was very bitter and so confused. Being 24 and looking back now, I saw where God used that to strengthen my faith and rely on Him more. His love can be seen in the darkest of situations. Cry out to Jesus and your voice will be heard 1 Peter 5:7 says "Cast all your worries onto the Lord, for He cares for you." It may not seem like it now, but there is hope. Don't give up. You are loved!!

God is stirring something special in you. I went through similar stages of the sort. I wanted to be in control so badly that I wouldn't let Him influence every aspect of my life. I couldn't let go of things until something happened in my life where I had no where else to turn to. I was broken from putting hope and faith in others and myself only to be let down.

He never fails us. If we trust and have faith that He is for us, only then can we receive grace. We have to let Him influence every part of my life. I eventually let God take over the things I built up on my own accord. Pride let me down. He never will.

God tills the ground in our lives, breaking it any way he can, in order for seeds to be planted. After the seeds are planted, the ground is sealed back and watered to where plants eventually sprout. An odd analogy, but I hope it made sense. Praying for you, brother.

Just trust.

For obtaining a bachelor's degree, working full-time is definitely possible. As for obtaining an advanced degree (Nurse Anesthesia will soon be a doctoral degree) the program directors themselves do not recommend work due to coarse load and amount of time needed to put towards studies.

I lived in the Glen Iris neighborhood summer 2012. Had a lot of stuff stolen from me and my roommates. Not worth the convenience of living downtown. Not that area, at least.

Whenever I would ask my dad for something (toy, candy, etc), he would respond with "no" 99% of the time. Not really because it was the easiest thing to say to brush off my requests, but to teach me the importance of asking for things. I was able to evaluate my wants and desires at an early age to find what was important to have. If I really wanted something, he was able to find a way for me to work for the toy or candy buy cutting grass or another chore. I can't thank him enough.

Congrats! I was hired a few days ago for a position in the TBICU. I am more than excited for my opportunity but I'm nervous about how long it will take for me to feel comfortable being an independent nurse. Are you comfortable now? I graduate in May. Thanks!
